5.1 Contractor Management

5.1.1 Are pre-qualification, selection and retention criteria established for work performed by contractors, supplier and others; including processes to gauge performance and compliance?
5.1.2 Are interfaces, responsibilities and performance criteria with suppliers of services and products identified and managed to verify the quality of contractor work?
5.1.3 Are the contractor EHS policies, practices and performance monitored and assessed? Is feedback provided? Are deficiencies corrected?
5.1.4 Do contractor employees have the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform their assigned duties in a safe and environmentally sound manner?

5.2 Supply Chain Management

5.2.1 Does Operations/Engineering provide a clearly defined specification for equipment and products and scope of work for services to allow proper sourcing of equipment, products and services?
5.2.2 Are variations to the stated specification or scope of work communicated with Operations/Engineering prior to bidding requirements or placement of an order?
5.2.3 Are purchased equipment, products and services, where possible, identified and documented as meeting all stakeholder standards, including quality control and quality assurance?
5.2.4 Are audits performed to verify vendor and supplier compliance with specified requirements for equipment, products, and services.
5.2.5 Does vendor selection, whether through competitive bidding processes or other methods, include safety, environmental and compliance considerations?
5.2.6 Do subcontractors fulfill all expectation and requirements as contractors?
